Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older; 15 years old may be considered with parental consent and work permit.
• Currently enrolled in high school or possess a high school diploma.
• Willingness to learn about the Park District and Nelson Center.
• Basic computer skills: Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist with class activities, front-line/guest services, and registration at the Nelson Center.
• Operate cash registers and assist with admissions, memberships, rentals and events.
• Support setup/cleanup for classes and parties and provide general customer service.
• Follow center policies, health/safety guidelines, and COVID-19 related procedures.
