Job summary

Family Ark provides individual and family therapy services to youth and families in southern Indiana. The Recovery Support Staff will oversee the Lotus House residential program and assist with transportation, documentation, and community-based activities.

This part-time role reports to the Lotus House Program Supervisor and offers a $500 hiring bonus. Hours are 4p-12a, three days per week with weekend availability and a 0.50/hour shift differential for second shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; two years of post-secondary education or Peer Support Specialist certification will be considered.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to pass extensive background checks.
• Family Ark is a drug free workplace; pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure the safety and security of programs and clients.
• Assist in the coordination of day reporting/treatment programs such as community service, education, parenting, childcare needs, substance abuse treatment and Independent Living (IL) skills.
• Provide transportation and assist with childcare as needed.
• Complete required documentation, including daily case notes, shift log, maintenance requests, visitation notes, etc.
