The Receiver at the Grocery Vendor Door handles incoming vendor merchandise, proofing orders, checking invoices, and confirming case or unit counts as it enters the store.

Responsibilities include price maintenance, recording damaged merchandise, processing returns, housekeeping the receiving area, and organizing stock in the backroom for efficient restocking.

The role requires 20–30 hours per week with reliability, conscientiousness, and basic computer data-entry skills; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Grocery stocker experience and data-entry preferred; training provided.
• Familiar with vendor interaction, invoicing, price maintenance.
• Physically capable of repetitive lifting up to 30 lb (50 lb occasionally).

Responsabilités

• Check-in vendor merchandise as it enters the store.
• Proof orders, check invoices and confirm case counts.
• Maintain prices and record damaged merchandise.
• Handle returns and organize stock in backroom.
• Keep receiving area clean and orderly.
