Job summary

Food Lion seeks a Store Receiving Associate to ensure proper DSD product receiving, follow standard procedures, and protect assets. You will support promotions, handle invoices, and maintain accurate plan-o-grams while delivering friendly service to customers.

You will work with store leadership to ensure safety, compliance, and efficient operations, including responding to issues with vendors and elevator stock movements as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Protect company assets through proper receipt and return of DSD products.
• Demonstrate and execute vendor receiving policies established by Food Lion.
• Work with vendors to resolve errors, policy violations or excessive inventory.
• Ensure timely promotions by vendors and implement merchandising notes.
• Verify DSD plan-o-grams and reconcile related invoices and tickets.
• Follow CAO guidelines and adhere to Food Safety and Workplace Safety procedures.
• Report accidents and observe safety guidelines on the job.
