Job summary

Food Lion is hiring for a on-site role focused on proper receiving of Direct Store Delivery products and maintaining standard practices. You will help ensure accurate stocking, compliance with policies, and safe handling of merchandise while delivering excellent customer service.

The position emphasizes teamwork with store management, vendor coordination, and accurate record-keeping, including daily worksheets and safety procedures. A high school diploma is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive DSD product according to Food Lion policies and procedures.
• Maintain standards per the standard practice manual and maximize sales through service.
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service.
• Protect company assets through proper receipt and return of DSD products.
• Work with vendors and Assist Store Manager to manage promotions and inventory.
• Ensure DSD plan-o-grams are accurate and process related paperwork.
