Job summary

Food Lion in Advance, NC is seeking a Store Associate to ensure proper receiving of Direct Store Delivery products, adhere to policies, and support daily store operations with friendly customer service. You will work with vendors, manage planograms and invoices, follow food safety guidelines, and help maintain inventory accuracy while delivering a safe, clean shopping environment.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to stand for long periods, and compliance with company dress code

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a fast, friendly, and accurate customer service focus.
• Protect company assets through proper receipt and return of DSD product.
• Work with vendors to resolve errors, policy violations or excessive inventory.
• Ensure timely promotions by all vendors.
• Verify that DSD plan-o-grams are accurate.
• Handle daily/weekly DSD tickets and invoices and file properly.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Report accidents and adhere to regulations.
