Qualifications

• Ability to relate to children with special needs; ability to provide instructional activities in collaboration with teacher.
• Some college training preferable. Minimum education requirements are: 48 semester hours... GPA 2.5 or higher from an accredited institution; OR Associate Degree or higher with GPA 2.5+; OR WorkKeys testing in Math 4, Reading 4, Writing 3.

Responsibilities

• Provide supplemental instruction to academically at-risk students in grades K-5 to reinforce reading and/or math skills.
• Collaborate with classroom teacher to prepare lessons, materials, and activities that supplement classroom instruction.
