Job summary

Alamance-Burlington Schools Altamahaw-Ossipee Elementary in Elon, NC is seeking a Part-Time Tutor for the 2026-2027 school year. Reports to the Principal and requires a Bachelor's degree; NC teaching license preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet the needs of all learners in a classroom setting.
• Experience supporting instruction and enrichment during school hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide supplemental instruction in Reading and enrichment activities.
• Follow curriculum and tailor instruction to student levels.
• Deliver individual and small-group support to meet needs.
• Establish and maintain student management standards for active participation.
• Maintain inventory and adapt materials for instruction.
