Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Reading, Literacy or English with graduate hours in Reading/Literacy.
• Alternative: BA in English/Language Arts with 1 year of secondary Reading teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver instruction in Reading across day, evening, or weekend sessions.
• Administer, evaluate, and grade student work; provide timely feedback.
• Develop curricula, syllabi, and instructional materials.
• Maintain office hours and support student recruitment and retention.
• Keep accurate attendance and grade records in line with FERPA.
• Participate in faculty meetings and professional development.
