Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services, Inc. is hiring an RBT to work 1:1 with children in Riverbank/Modesto, providing support to develop communication, social, and daily living skills through structured play-based sessions. Sessions take place at home, in-clinic, or at school and typically last 2–3 hours.

The role requires an active RBT/ABAT/BCAT certification, minimum 18 years old, and reliable transportation. A 40‑hour RBT course may be needed if not certified.

Qualifications

• Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children.
• 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Active RBT/ABAT/BCAT certification or willingness to obtain within onboarding.
• Must maintain an active RBT/ABAT/BCAT certification for continued employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent and minimum 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• As an RBT, work 1:1 with children to build communication, social, play, and daily living skills.
• Deliver sessions in home, clinic, or school, lasting 2–3 hours.
• Deliver behavior support and implement plans designed by BCBA.
• Record client progress accurately and communicate with families.
