Job summary

Step Ahead ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide direct therapy in-home in Des Moines, IA, on Monday through Friday afternoons. The role supports teens on the autism spectrum under BCBA supervision, following an established treatment plan and data collection process.

The position offers a flexible, case-based schedule with opportunities for growth and a clear supervision pathway. Competitive pay, paid non-billable time, and benefits accrue after 40 hours worked.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification with BACB.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Mon–Fri afternoons.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy as per the BCBA's treatment plan.
• Follow the plan introduced by the BCBA and support the family's care manager.
• Collect session data and submit notes; non-billable time is paid.
• Receive supervision, competency assessments, and feedback from the BCBA.
