Job summary

Positive Behavior Supports Corporation (PBS Corp.) in Michigan is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician to support children with autism in home, school, or community settings. You will implement ABA-based treatment plans under a BCBA and help children develop learning and independence.

This role offers mentorship, flexible scheduling, and opportunities to grow into a full-time position as caseloads expand, with paid travel and benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification required.
• Experience working with children in ABA therapy, childcare, education, psychology, or related fields.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
• Willingness to travel locally for in-home sessions.
• Ability to actively engage with clients and handle physical tasks up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children in home, school, or community settings.
• Implement ABA-based treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Use positive reinforcement strategies to promote learning and independence.
• Collect and record data to monitor client progress.
• Collaborate with families and clinical teams to ensure success.
• Attend team meetings and ongoing professional development sessions.
