Job summary

BehaviorCare Therapy is hiring behavior technicians to work with children in their homes during afternoon and evening hours in Arizona. This role focuses on 1:1 support to help children build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA therapy designed by a licensed BCBA.

You’ll work with the same children consistently in their homes, tracking progress with a simple data system and collaborating with your BCBA and fellow techs to ensure consistency.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism).
• ABA experience a plus!
• Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus)
• Reliable transportation
• Must pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with kids in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques
• Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA)
• Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet (train you how to do this)
• Team up with your BCBA and fellow techs to keep things consistent and effective
• Give feedback to families about how the session went and celebrate small wins together!
