Job summary

ExpressCare Urgent Care Centers in Maryland is seeking a licensed Radiographer to join our fast-paced team. You will contribute to patient care by supporting radiology workflow, triage, and basic procedures while upholding quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include operating x-ray equipment, performing EKGs and specimen collection as needed, and maintaining flexibility to cover weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Maryland State Radiographer License is required.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
• Proficiency in operating x-ray equipment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and work long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with triaging, discharge, and basic patient care within radiology workflow.
• Perform EKGs, urine specimen collection, and influenza nasal swabs as needed.

Job Title: Radiographer

Basic Patient Care:

• Assist with triaging, discharge, and other basic patient care as Radiology workflow allows
• Perform simple laboratory tests such as EKGs, urine specimen collection, and influenza nasal swabs
• Maryland State Radiographer License (Required)

Work Experience:

• Minimum one year of clinical experience in a physician’s office or hospital (preferred)
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Proficiency in operating x-ray equipment
• Superior customer service skills
• Reliable transportation with the willingness to comply with the company travel policy
• Ability to work 12+ hour shifts, stand/walk for long periods, and lift 25 lbs.
• Must have scheduling flexibility, including weekends and holidays

Pay & Benefits

• Competitive hourly pay: $35-$40, plus opportunities for overtime
• $2,500 sign-on bonus for full-time positions
