Job summary

Patriot Urgent Care in Maryland is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and support clinicians in exams. You will perform digital x-rays, assist with procedures, and help with patient intake and documentation.

The ideal candidate will hold a current RT license, CPR certification, and be able to work 12-hour shifts and weekends as needed. Competitive pay and benefits offered at CRH-affiliated clinics.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical intake including medical history, medications, vital signs, and EMR documentation.
• Explain procedures and prepare patient and exam room.
• Assist physicians with procedures.
• Perform diagnostic tests (eye exams, EKG, audiogram, spirometry) and basic nursing tasks.
• Perform CLIA-waived lab tests and process specimens.
• Acquire digital X-ray images with proper positioning and safety.
• Document services and test results in the chart.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and referrals.
• Perform equipment quality checks and assist registration staff.

Radiologic Technologist – Maryland Region

Patriot Urgent Care is a leading urgent care operator in the state of Maryland. Our mission is to provide the perfect patient experience so our patients can “Get in. Get out. Get better.” We have an opening for an X-Ray Technician to provide radiographic and other diagnostic imaging and assist providers in the examination and treatment of patients. Employees in this role will provide x-ray services to patients and assist clinical staff with other needs. We are looking for someone with a high level of attention to detail, a courteous demeanor, and strong communication skills.

Radiologic Technologist: $35.00 – $42.00 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform clinical intake including but not limited to obtaining patient’s medical history, current medications & chief complaint, obtaining vital signs, and record information within the electronic medical record.
• Explain treatment procedures and prepare patient and exam room for examination.
• Assist physicians with procedures.
• Perform diagnostic tests including eye exams, electrocardiographs (EKG), audiogram, spirometry testing, and basic nursing functions.
• Perform CLIA-waived lab tests, collect labels, and process specimens for send-out.
• Perform digital x-rays with proper positioning, shielding, and settings to produce quality images in a compliant, safe manner.
• Document within the medical chart to include medical services rendered, test results, and supplies used.
• Perform patient callbacks, arrange referrals and testing, and schedule follow-up appointments.
• Perform quality checks on medical equipment as directed/needed.
• Assist registration staff and perform additional clerical duties as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience
