Job summary

Wickenburg Community Hospital is seeking a part‑time radiology support aide to assist technologists, transport patients, and help manage patient flow in a rural hospital setting in Wickenburg, AZ. The role mainly covers Saturdays and Sundays and requires attention to detail in a fast-paced imaging environment.

Responsibilities include assisting patients, reviewing orders, maintaining HIPAA compliance, and helping keep the imaging area clean and organized while supporting the radiology team.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports and assists patients within the imaging department and adjacent areas.
• Reviews physician orders, researches lab values, and provides patient education as directed.
• Supports imaging department workflow and helps maintain patient flow.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality guidelines.
• Cleans and disinfects equipment and rooms; supports general duties as assigned.
