Job summary

Oro Valley Hospital is seeking a Radiology Assistant for a part-time day shift to support the imaging department. You will assist technologists, prepare patients for procedures, and help maintain equipment and supplies to ensure smooth workflows and high-quality patient care.

The role involves basic administrative duties, strong communication with staff and patients, and adherence to infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience in a clinical or imaging setting is preferred.
• Basic life support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Licenses or certifications in CNA/CMA/CPCT are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and verify identity.
• Assist technologists with room turnover and exam setup.
• Support contrast-related procedures under supervision.
• Maintain MRI safety awareness and infection control practices.
• Stock supplies and organize materials for daily operations.
• Perform basic administrative duties and telephone communications.
• Support patient transport, transfers, and discharge as directed.
• Participate in remote support workflows where applicable.
• Report safety or equipment issues promptly.
