Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Applied Science, Radiologic Technology from an ARRT-approved program.
• New York State Radiologic Technology License or valid temporary license.
• Valid BLS Certification.
• ARRT Certification when eligible.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform CR and DR X-ray procedures.
• Assist with Fluoroscopy, Bone Density, C-arm, pain management, and Interventional Radiology procedures.
• Communicate clearly with patients regarding medical history and exam expectations.
• Accurately enter and verify patient and exam data in RIS and PACS systems.
• Verify imaging orders prior to exams.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform quality control and quarterly quality assurance testing.
• Support fellow technologists and other departments as needed.
• Restock supplies and maintain inventory across applicable sites.
