CUMULUS MEDIA in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Part-Time Board Operator to provide programming and control console support. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and adaptable in a fast-paced media environment with a passion for entertainment.

Responsibilities include running the control room, scheduling and airing commercials, and monitoring weather, traffic, and news. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a radio station control room and consoles.
• Audio production skills preferred.
• Comfort with FCC rules and EAS guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Run the console in a radio station control room for live or pre-recorded programs.
• Play commercials as scheduled and maintain a commercial/transmitter log.
• Monitor weather, traffic, and news reports; update as needed.
• Ensure accuracy of on-air programming from master control room.
