Qualifications

• Experience operating a radio station control console preferred.
• Experience in audio production preferred.
• Knowledge of FCC rules and EAS guidelines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with audio editing software.

Responsibilities

• Run the console in the control room for live or pre-recorded programs.
• Play commercials as scheduled and maintain a log of ads/transmitter activity.
• Monitor weather, traffic, and news reports.
• Watch for EAS and Amber alerts and breaking news.
• Verify the technical quality of on-air programming from master control.
