Job summary

Southern Health Partners is launching a new correctional healthcare program at Worth County Jail, Georgia. We’re seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our team for an 8-hour-per-week role, offering meaningful behavioral health services in a secure setting.

As part of the SHP team, you’ll perform assessments, counseling, and documentation, helping establish the program from the ground up while maintaining flexibility in your schedule.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted professional license in Georgia.
• Current CPR certification, as applicable to discipline.
• Behavioral health or mental health experience.
• Ability to work independently and with healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Providing behavioral health assessments and services.
• Identifying mental health needs and developing treatment recommendations.
• Providing individual counseling and supportive interventions.
• Monitoring patients for changes in mental or behavioral health status.
• Documenting assessments, services, and patient progress.
• Assisting with continuity of behavioral healthcare and site launch.
