Southern Health Partners is launching a new correctional healthcare program at Worth County Jail in Georgia, and we’re seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse MTA to help build a strong, compassionate medical team from day one.

The role offers a Monday through Friday schedule with 8-hour days, autonomy to impact patient care, and the opportunity to shape workflows in a secure setting while coordinating with SHP providers.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in Georgia.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, professional patient care in a secure correctional environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and nursing services.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Complete assessments, documentation, and follow-up care.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in health status.
• Collaborate with medical providers and the SHP healthcare team.
• Support continuity of care and establish efficient workflows as the site launches.
