Job summary

Herr Foods Inc. is seeking a Part-Time QA Lab Tech for the Nottingham, PA site. The 2nd shift runs 3:30pm–9:00pm, Monday through Thursday, with occasional overtime as needed. Responsibilities include lab testing on finished products, data entry into ERP, and communicating results to shift leadership.

Applicants must pass background checks and pre-employment screenings, and be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work in a noisy environment. Company benefits and retention bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and able to pass background check and drug screening.
• Ability to sustain concentration for several hours on a fast-paced line.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and work with PPE in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hourly lab tests on finished product packages.
• Perform statistical averaging of test results.
• Communicate results to shift supervisor and others.
• Operate x-ray machines to inspect products as required.
• Enter production and quality data into ERP system.
• Update ERP records to reflect real-time data.
• Maintain real-time inventory levels and coordinate replenishment.
• Conduct visual quality checks and locate products in warehouse.
