Job summary

New Avenues for Youth seeks a Quality Assurance Program Assistant to support staff serving youth facing houselessness. The role provides administrative and data entry tasks to maximize direct service time with youth.

The position is part-time with a hybrid schedule (two days on-site in Portland and one from home). Benefits include comprehensive health coverage, generous PTO, gym discounts, and counseling services. Candidate should have a related degree and experience in youth services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, or social work preferred; high school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in youth development or human services.
• Ability to understand, interpret, and follow regulatory policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs completeness checks and ensures file compliance with HUD, CARF, and other contracts.
• Performs data entry in the database system and supports program teams.
• Assists in monthly tracking and distribution of youth participant rent subsidies.
• Conducts quarterly stakeholder and youth participant surveys.
• Maintains reduced fare public transit ordering and reporting processes.
