Job summary

CareOregon, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst - HRSN to provide QA, administrative, and analytical support for the Rent Assistance team and Health-Related Social Needs (HRSN) benefit.

This hybrid role requires weekly in-office presence in downtown Portland and candidates located in the Portland Metro area. The role focuses on ensuring accurate member benefit allocations, timely payments, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in data quality assurance.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Medicaid, health plan operations, or managed care organizations.
• Experience with regulation and applying rules to a process.
• Preferred Experience in managed care.
• Experience in quality assurance or improvement.
• Experience collaborating on or managing projects.
• Housing familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct timely and accurate QA reviews of member benefit allocations prior to payment.
• Review documentation and data to validate eligibility, benefit limits, accuracy of calculations, and payment amounts.
• Identify trends and root causes of errors; recommend corrective actions.
• Research claims, invoices, enrollment, and benefit processing issues for resolution.
• Collaborate with Rent Assistance team to reduce rework and improve processes.
• Develop and distribute QA and performance reports for leadership and the Oregon Health Authority (OHA).
