Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to manage our purchasing queue end to end, including Amazon Business orders and vendor management, at a ~20-hour per week schedule in Pompano Beach.

This part-time, non-exempt role offers hybrid work, $20.00 per hour, and a chance to supportAccounts Payable with accurate documentation, reconciliations, and timely order tracking across our multi-location network.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years administrative purchasing or office operations experience.
• Experience with online ordering platforms, including Amazon, preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transaction-heavy work.
• Proficiency with email, shared drives, and Excel.
• Ability to manage a queue independently and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own the purchasing queue for 20 locations from intake through delivery.
• Place approved orders through the Amazon Business account with correct shipping and payment methods.
• Maintain accurate order status, tracking, and receipts for month-end reconciliation.
• Track open orders, notify delays, and manage returns or refunds as needed.
• Support Accounts Payable in researching charges and pulling spend exports.
• Maintain Amazon Business account settings and vendor subscriptions.
