CS Automation, an ISO 9001 certified distributor in Ontario, NY, seeks a part-time Purchasing Assistant to back the Purchasing and Customer Service Managers in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; associates degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of supply chain experience.
• Strong Excel skills and computer proficiency.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Run weekly overdue purchase order reports and follow up with vendors on late items.
• Run weekly expedite reports and pursue expediting with vendors as needed.
• Monitors receipts issues and coordinates with warehouse to resolve problems.
• Fulfill customer requests for C of C documents and related paperwork.
• Assist Purchasing Manager with inventory management projects.
• Cross-train in customer service to cover capacity fluctuations.
