Job summary

Highland Chateau Health and Rehabilitation Center in Minnesota is seeking a Part Time or PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). The PTA will deliver quality care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and assist with evaluation and treatment planning to meet patient short- and long-term goals.

Qualifications include an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy, successful NPTAE, and a current PTA license or eligibility in the practicing state.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Successful passage of the National Physical Therapy Assistant Examination (NPTAE).
• Has current PTA license (or is license-eligible) in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• To provide quality physical therapy care within the PTA scope of practice under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist in accordance with established standards of practice, department procedures and productivity standards.
• To assist the Physical Therapist in the evaluation process and with identifying a target list, including short-term goals, long-term goals and treatment plan.
