Job summary

Vantage Care Management is seeking Part-time and PRN PTA candidates to join our care team. This role provides quality resident care to help maintain functional ability and positive interactions within the facility.

Qualifications include graduation from an APTA-accredited PTA program and licensure eligibility; prior long-term care experience is preferred. The PTA supports PT with treatments, documents per policy, and teaches residents and caregivers to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA accredited PTA program and eligible for licensure.
• Prior long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the PT in providing physical therapy treatments to residents as determined by the Plan of Care.
• Manages caseload with supervisor by scheduling treatment individually or in groups while maintaining efficiency expectations.
• Instructs resident, family, and caregivers in PT to be continued upon discharge.
• Adheres to PPS guidelines, ensures all PT documentation/treatment conforms to documentation/billing policies and procedures.
• Working with PT, provides oversight and direction of techs and assists in the supervision and education of affiliating students.
