Job summary

The College of Southern Nevada is seeking part-time instructors to teach Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) courses and actively contribute to department leadership. Teaching assignments will include courses related to physical therapy practice and may include opportunities for involvement in departmental initiatives and program support.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed Physical Therapist or licensed Physical Therapist Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses that prepare students for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
• Develop and deliver instruction in assigned courses, which may include classroom and online teaching formats.
• Teach courses at various CSN campuses, with assigned locations, days, and times varying by semester.
• Be available to teach morning, afternoon, evening, and/or weekend courses based on program needs.
• Teach courses within areas for which the instructor is qualified.
• Collaborate with PTA faculty on course development, curriculum improvements, and textbook selection.
• Oversee specialty lab areas and classrooms within assigned subject areas.
• Participate in and/or lead department and college-wide committees.
