Position Overview

College of Southern Nevada seeks part‑time instructors to teach Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) courses and contribute to department leadership.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses that prepare students for licensure as a PTA.
• Develop and deliver instruction in assigned courses, including classroom and online formats.
• Teach at various CSN campuses with assignments varying by semester.
• Be available for morning, afternoon, evening, and/or weekend courses as program needs dictate.
• Teach courses within areas for which the instructor is qualified.
• Collaborate with PTA faculty on course development, curriculum improvements, and textbook selection.
• Oversee specialty laboratory areas and classrooms within assigned subject areas.
• Participate in and/or lead department and college‑wide committees.
• This position may require a criminal background check for selected candidates.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist or a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant.
• License must be current and from the State of Nevada.

Salary and Hours

Compensation is $925.00 per lecture credit and $57.81 per laboratory hour. Courses/credits assigned may vary by semester. Full‑time equivalent is 48.8%.
