Job summary

The College of Southern Nevada invites applicants for employment as part-time instructional faculty in physical education. Instructors will teach courses designed to develop athletes to compete at intercollegiate levels; courses may be offered across multiple campuses and delivered in person with day or evening options.

• Master’s degree in physical education, exercise science, education with an emphasis in physical education, kinesiology, physiology of exercise, or adaptive physical education; or, bachelor’s degree in physical education, exercise science, education with an emphasis in physical education, kinesiology, physiology of exercise, or adaptive physical education; or, possess a combination of education and experience that is at least the equivalent to the above.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master7s degree from an accredited institution in physical education, exercise science, education with an emphasis in physical education, kinesiology, physiology of exercise, or adaptive physical education; or, bachelor7s degree in physical education, exercise science, education with an emphasis in physical education, kinesiology, physiology of exercise, or adaptive physical education; or, possess a combination of education and experience that is at least the equivalent to the above.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching college Physical Education or related courses.
• Experience teaching/coaching at the intercollegiate level.

Salary and Employment Details

Starting Salary: $925.00 per Instructional Unit or $57.81 per Contact Hours
