Job summary

HealthPro Heritage seeks a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our assisted living community in Moline, IL. The PTA will support therapists through direct patient care, therapeutic exercises, and education for residents in a welcoming senior living setting.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, coordinating with the therapy team, and ensuring compliance with facility policies while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, providing direct patient care and therapies.
• Monitor and document patient progress, educate patients and families on protocols and exercises.
• Accurately document treatments and responses in accordance with facility policies.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
