Job summary

Encompass Health in Tennessee is seeking a Physical Therapy Team Leader to drive patient outcomes and lead a dedicated therapy team. You will oversee daily operations, ensure compliant treatments, and partner with hospital staff to deliver compassionate care.

This leadership role requires current PT licensure, CPR certification, and at least three years of experience in physical therapy or leadership, with two years of clinical practice.

Qualifications

• Current licensure to practice physical therapy in state regulations.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited therapy program is required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy or leadership, with at least two years of clinical experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or relevant specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations with daily therapy team operations, including scheduling, orientation, training, and communication with staff and hospital departments.
• Provide direct patient care and build rewarding relationships by addressing physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
