Job summary

Bronson at Home is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant for full-time home care. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will deliver treatments aimed at improving function, strength, and independence for patients with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, plan-of-care execution, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
• PAS license in good standing in Michigan.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Current driver’s license and access to a vehicle for Bronson at Home.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Follow the plan of care and goals established by the Physical Therapist.
• Provide direct patient care including physical, electrical, mechanical, and heat treatments per plan.
• Conduct individual and/or group activities to facilitate patient participation.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions and rounds.
• Support program development and act as a resource in areas of expertise.
• Supervise Rehab Clinical Assistant, PTA students and volunteers.
