Cumberland County Guidance Center is seeking a dedicated psychiatrist to join the Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) team on a part-time basis. You will provide community-based psychiatric care, evaluate patients, prescribe medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed, person-centered care, with a focus on stability and quality of life for adults living with serious mental illness in the Cumberland County area.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board eligibility or certification in Psychiatry.
• Current New Jersey medical license or ability to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and ongoing treatment for PACT participants.
• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications and MAT as appropriate.
• Participate in treatment planning with the multidisciplinary PACT team.
• Conduct assessments, medication reviews and follow-up appointments.
• Collaborate with nurses and team members on medication management.
• Offer consultation and clinical guidance to the treatment team.
• Engage in crisis intervention and risk assessment as needed.
• Complete clinical documentation per agency/state/federal requirements.
• Support recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.
