Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a compassionate psychiatrist to join the Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) in Dunn, NC, for a 12-hour weekly, on-site role. You will lead psychiatric care for individuals with serious mental illness, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in community-based settings.

The ideal candidate holds an MD or DO, board certification in Psychiatry, and an active NC license, with 5+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and board certification required for psychiatry practice.
• Active North Carolina medical license is required.
• Minimum of 5+ years treating individuals with mental illness.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management.
• Deliver outpatient psychotherapy in community settings.
• Coordinate care across mental health, substance use, and primary care services.
• Guide ACT team members in clinical decision-making.
