The Pavilion at McLean Hospital, part of the McLean Hospital system, seeks a Community Residence Counselor to provide direct patient care in a psychiatric milieu. Working three 8-hour shifts per week with rotating days and evenings, you will join a multidisciplinary team under a Nurse Manager and Clinical Coordinator to support residents’ daily routines and therapeutic activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s preferred in a related field.
• 1 year patient care or related experience; 1–2 years psychiatric setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care per treatment plan under supervision.
• Supervise community activities and assist with appointments.
• Maintain documentation and shift notes promptly and clearly.
• Participate in rounds, status checks, and team meetings.
• Support residents with daily routines, medications reminders, meals, transportation and personal care.
