Job summary

The McLean Hospital Corporation in Massachusetts seeks a part-time patient-care professional for 32 hours weekly on a rotating Day/Evening schedule at 52 Oak Street. You will provide direct care to psychiatric patients, ensure safety, and support a therapeutic milieu while maintaining documentation and collaboration with the health care team.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, BLS preferred, and CPI training within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• BLS Certification preferred.
• LNA license preferred (NH Board).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients with psychiatric, drug and alcohol conditions.
• Advocate for patients who may be vulnerable or need support.
• Parent/Family counseling and training interventions.
• Adhere to guidelines for patients on special status (suicide, abuse, AWOL).
• Give shift-to-shift reports and remain on unit during incoming reports.
• Respond quickly and effectively in emergencies.
• Maintain professional boundaries with patients at all times.
• Complete and file all required documentation promptly.
