Thriveworks is currently seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Johnson City, Tennessee. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling with 15-20 clinical hours per week and a competitive salary ranging from $61,000 to $89,000 per year.

The ideal candidate must be licensed in Tennessee, have experience in psychiatry, and the ability to conduct assessments via telemedicine. This role emphasizes a collaborative team culture and adherence to clinical practice guidelines.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner; Board Certification required.
• Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state.
• Three years of experience is a plus; one year of psychiatry practice is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients via in-person and telemedicine.
• Treat clients aged 14 and up.
• Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed.
• Create and collaborate with clients on care plans.
• Complete and administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools.
• Adhere to Thriveworks’ Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services.
• Attend in-person collaborator meetings at Thriveworks locations as required.
