Job summary

Riverside Mental Health and Recovery Center in Hampton, VA is seeking a Psych Registered Nurse (RN) for part-time day shifts focused on adult psychiatry. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients under supervision within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications include a Nursing degree (BSN preferred, ADN or Nursing Diploma acceptable) and Virginia RN licensure. Sign-on bonus eligible; medical insurance is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred; or an Associate Degree in Nursing; Nursing Diploma acceptable as minimum education; HS Diploma/GED only if Nursing Diploma graduate.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient clinical and psychosocial needs and develop a plan of care.
• Implement and evaluate the total nursing care for assigned patients.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to non‑professional personnel to ensure quality care.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team for care planning and transitions.
• Complete required documentation per Riverside Health System standards.
• Respond to emergencies and monitor patient safety and well‑being.
