Job summary

Haven Headache & Migraine Center seeks a clinician to deliver in-clinic procedural migraine care one day per week in San Diego, with potential growth. The role includes Botox for chronic migraine, peripheral nerve blocks, trigger point injections, and SPG blocks, with careful documentation and coordination with the virtual care team.

Ideal candidates hold active California licensure and have experience in headache medicine or procedural pain management, and are comfortable performing outpatient

• Active licensure and eligibility to practice in California.
• Prior headache medicine, neurology, or procedural pain management experience.
• Hands-on experience with Botox for chronic migraine, peripheral nerve blocks, trigger point injections, and/or SPG blocks.
• Comfort performing outpatient procedures independently with excellent technique.
• Interest in contributing to a growing, mission-driven clinical program.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality in-clinic procedural care for migraine patients.
• Perform Botox chemodenervation and nerve blocks as outlined.
• Conduct trigger point injections and SPG blocks as applicable.
• Counsel patients, provide aftercare education, and maintain thorough documentation.
• Coordinate with Haven’s virtual care team for longitudinal treatment plans.

Part-Time Clinician – Headache & Migraine Procedures

San Diego, CA | 1 day/week to start (Mondays), with growth potential

The Opportunity

Backed by Precursor Ventures and 1843 Capital, we're transforming how migraine is treated through an innovative combination of telemedicine, AI-enabled monitoring, and personalized care plans. Our early results are exceptional—our initial patient cohort is seeing a 70% improvement rate with days impacted by headache reduced by half.

How You’ll Make An Impact

In this role, you’ll provide high-quality in-clinic procedural care, including:

• Chronic migraine chemodenervation using onabotulinumtoxinA (e.g., PREEMPT protocol)
• Peripheral nerve blocks (occipital, supraorbital/supratrochlear, auriculotemporal, and related blocks)
• Trigger point injections for myofascial contributors to headache disorders
• SPG blocks (experience with catheter-based approaches welcomed)
• Procedure counseling, aftercare education, and thorough clinical documentation
• Close care coordination with Haven’s virtual care team to support longitudinal treatment plans

Schedule & Setting

• Part-time: 1 clinic day per week to start (Friday availability required)
• In-person at Haven’s San Francisco clinic
