Endeavor Health is seeking a Fellowship Trained Headache Physician to join our Arlington Heights neuroscience program. The role combines high-volume clinical care with potential leadership responsibilities in a multidisciplinary setting, focusing on comprehensive headache and migraine management.

You will work in inpatient and outpatient teams, access in-clinic procedures like Botox and nerve blocks, and collaborate with fellowship-trained specialists.

Qualifications

• Fellowship in Headache Medicine and Facial Pain through UCNS is required.
• Board Certification: AQH by the National Headache Foundation.
• Medical license in Illinois or pending is required.
• Controlled Substance License in Illinois or pending is required.
• DEA registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for all headache types in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Collaborate with fellowship-trained headache specialists and neurology subspecialists.
• Offer in-clinic procedures such as Botox, nerve blocks, and infusion therapies.
• Lead and participate in multidisciplinary care teams and academic activities.
• Contribute to program growth and participate in research initiatives.

Position Highlights

• Team-based care model within a high-volume, specialized neuroscience clinic and inpatient unit
• Focus on managing patients with all headache types, including chronic migraine, tension-type headaches, medication overuse, and post-traumatic headaches
• Access to in-clinic procedures such as Botox, nerve blocks, and infusion therapies
• Inpatient management of refractory headache patients within a multidisciplinary care team that includes physicians, APPs, pharmacy, nursing, and a number of therapeutic care providers. Physicians are supported by a team of APPs during clinical rounding on the unit.
• Collaborate closely with fellowship-trained headache specialists and neurology subspecialists
• Strong collaboration and support from Research Institute to ease participation in clinical trials and scientific inquiry
• Opportunities for academic involvement and teaching, including current fellows.

Qualifications

• Fellowship in Headache Medicine and Facial Pain through UCNS
• Board Certification: AQH certification through the National Headache Foundation
• Completion of a Medical Program in Neurology, Anesthesia, Physical Medicine and Rehab, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• Medical License in the State of Illinois or pending
• Controlled Substance License in the State of Illinois or pending
