Northshore Personnel Services Inc. is seeking a Property Manager for Tanana Apartments in Alaska. This part-time role focuses on maximizing NOI, maintaining occupancy, and leading a skilled on-site team while ensuring compliance with housing laws.

The candidate will develop marketing plans, manage vendor relations, and provide timely operational and financial reporting to the Regional Manager. On-site leadership and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one years’ experience as a Community Manager in the Multifamily Industry is required.
• High school education or equivalent is required.
• CPM, CAM, RMP, or CMCA Certifications are preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of state law as it relates to fair housing.
• Intermediate computer and Internet knowledge; MS Word, Excel, and Outlook skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Achieve the highest possible net operating income through effective cost control.
• Maintain high occupancy levels.
• Develop marketing plans while remaining informed of market conditions and competitive pricing.
• Prepare and render all requested operational and financial data to your Regional Manager in a timely manner.
• Maintain a high-quality on-site team through training, clear standards, and leadership.
• Lead daily/weekly team meetings and ensure policies are implemented.
• Ensure all physical aspects of the Community are fully operational and safe.
• Schedule vendors to keep vacant units ready for occupancy.
• Visually inspect grounds, buildings, and apartment units regularly.
• Complete and analyze market surveys.
