Position Overview:
KENTECH is seeking a part-time Project Manager to lead and manage our end-to-end RFP (Request for Proposal) process. This contractor will coordinate internal resources, ensure timely submissions, and develop a scalable approach to proposal management. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex proposal projects across cross-functional teams and a strong understanding of compliance-driven industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the full RFP lifecycle—from intake and evaluation to submission and post-submission follow-up.
- Create timelines, assign responsibilities, and keep stakeholders on track to meet all deadlines.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Compliance, and Marketing to gather necessary documentation and tailored responses.
- Develop a centralized, searchable RFP content library using shared cloud platforms (e.g., Google Drive, Notion, or Whale).
- Perform bid intelligence gathering to inform pricing strategy and submission competitiveness.
- Ensure brand voice, formatting consistency, and compliance requirements are upheld across all RFP submissions.
- Recommend process automation tools and best practices to improve speed and accuracy of submissions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in project management BONUS: managing RFPs, proposals, or client deliverables in a project manager capacity.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a knack for juggling multiple moving parts.
- Familiarity with SaaS, investigative services, or compliance-heavy industries a plus.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, project management platforms and AI-based RFP tools a bonus.
- Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor and adhere to agreed timelines.
