Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Project Accountant to oversee systems and processes for the Thacker Pass project in Nevada. You will manage a team of project accountants, work with the client on cost capture, invoicing, accruals and asset capitalization.

This part‑time telework role requires a bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years of related experience, with strong working knowledge of Oracle, CFAR, JADB, Aconex and MyTime. In‑person attendance will be needed several days per week at the project office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8–10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with project accounting and billing processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project accounting controls and contract compliance.
• Ensure monthly billings align with contract terms.
• Manage accounts receivable/payable and cash flow.
• Coordinate timekeeping and payroll processes.
• Prepare financial analyses, forecasts and ad-hoc reports.
