Job summary

FOCUS North America seeks a part-time Program Coordinator for its West Central PA ministry located in Aliquippa, PA. Initial hours are 10–15 per week with potential growth as the ministry expands.

The role will mobilize volunteers to execute a Back-to-School Backpack campaign, explore monthly meals for students and families, and oversee ministry operations including food and clothing distribution. It reports to the Director of New Center Growth & Parish Engagement.

Qualifications

• Non-profit leadership experience.
• Experience managing a budget.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• A passion for service.
• Willingness to solicit funds on behalf of the local ministry.
• Ability to work daily with those served by the ministry.
• Ability to work cross jurisdictionally with local Orthodox parishes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the local ministry, including food and clothing distribution.
• Coordinate volunteer mobilization for ministry activities.
• Manage partnerships with local organizations.
• Support growth into Center Director and Advisory Committee responsibilities.
• Assist with donor solicitation and grants with support from the Development Office.
