Job summary

The Salvation Army Centre County Service Center invites applications for a part-time Program/Outreach Coordinator to support annual programs such as camp recruitment, Back-To-School events, and Coats for the Kids. You will coordinate the Red Kettle Fundraising Campaign, engage with local businesses, and foster community partnerships in State College.

Ideal candidates have high school education with clerical experience, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Office and social media.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Clerical experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and communication skills.
• Must be self-motivated, organized, creative.
• Computer skills with MS Office and social media proficiency.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Must complete PA Act 153 training within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Salvation Army State College Service Center under guidance of the Regional Manager.
• Assist with camp recruitment, Back-To-School events and Coats for the Kids activities.
• Coordinate the Red Kettle Fundraising Campaign, sponsorships, and bell ringing logistics.
• Foster community connections with local organizations and businesses.
• Maintain social media presence related to the service center.
• Contribute to fundraising and community events, handle correspondence and mailings.
