Job summary

Twin City Fan Companies, Ltd. in Mitchell, SD, is seeking reliable shop personnel to join our manufacturing team. The role involves kitting, crating, bolt-up, material handling, and operating basic tools.

You will work with production leaders to fulfill orders, maintain inventory, and ensure safety and quality while following blueprints and shop orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must understand verbal and written instructions.
• Troubleshoot problems and report issues.
• Must work well in team environment.
• Based on department, may be required to operate a forklift, overhead crane, and electric pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• May be responsible for the kitting, crating and/or bolt-up process.
• May maintain inventory counts of nuts, bolts, screws, metal, lumber, etc.
• Transport product, parts, and materials by using, forklift, pallet jack, or crane.
• Understand and execute work orders provided by production leaders.
• Work supportively with the appropriate departments to meet quotas and goals.
• Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management.
• Follow all shop orders and blueprints.
• Able to use basic hand tools and read tape measure.
• Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space.

• Additional duties may be assigned, dependent upon location and product line.
