Job summary

Twin City Fan is seeking a Part Time Production Worker for night shifts in Mitchell, SD. This entry-level role supports manufacturing operations, with on-site work and starting pay of $17.50 per hour plus a $2 per hour shift differential.

Responsibilities include assisting with kitting, crating, using basic hand tools, reading work orders and blueprints, maintaining inventory counts, and safely operating equipment as trained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must understand verbal and written instructions.
• Able to troubleshoot problems and report issues.
• Team-oriented and safety-conscious.
• May be required to operate forklift, overhead crane, and pallet jack depending on department.

Responsibilities

• May be responsible for the kitting, crating and/or bolt-up process.
• May maintain inventory counts of nuts, bolts, screws, metal, lumber, etc.
• Transport product, parts, and materials by using forklift, pallet jack, or crane.
• Understand and execute work orders provided by production leaders.
• Work supportively with the appropriate departments to meet quotas and goals.
• Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management.
• Follow all shop orders and blueprints.
• Able to use basic hand tools and read tape measure.
• Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space.

• Additional duties may be assigned, dependent upon location and product line.
